May 15 Thrivers Education Seminar Focused on Lymphedema

Sandie Sanderson, Certified Lymphedema Therapist, spoke to a group of Thrivers on May 15 on lymphedema, its stages, and effective means of treatment. Lymphedema is an accumulation of protein rich fluids in your body which can occur once lymph nodes are removed. Early diagnosis and treatment is most important. Thanks to your support of our fundraising efforts, the Nancy B. Clemente Cancer Fund benefits breast cancer patients with lymphedema who have significant financial burden. The Thrivers Connection Education Series of classes are held at Noon every other month in the Massry Center Conference Room, 147 Hoosick Street, Troy, NY. Come join us on July 10.
